Compassionate Mental Health Support Nonprofit in Saint Paul

At Saving Space, we are dedicated to creating safe, affirming environments where collegiate males—especially Black males—can show up as their true, authentic selves. Based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, we are a national nonprofit committed to addressing the critical mental health disparities affecting male college students at both PWIs and HBCUs. Through partnerships with colleges and universities, we help establish community-centered group therapy programs that provide culturally competent care, peer connection, and emotional support. Beyond therapy, we also offer scholarship opportunities and resource navigation services, ensuring students have access to the tools they need for academic, emotional, and personal success.

Our vision is rooted in partnership, sustainability, and impact. We’re proud to currently collaborate with FAMU and the University of Minnesota, and we’re actively working to expand our network nationwide. What sets us apart is our focus on a deeply affected yet often overlooked community, using results-driven strategies and trusted relationships to build programs that truly make a difference. As a young organization, we rely on the generosity of alumni, universities, and corporate sponsors who share our belief in the power of collective care.
